Today we learned a new sight word: that. We worked on changing beginning parts of words such as "fox...now change the /f/ to a /b/...box!" They are getting quick at this. We reviewed our robust words lively, ravenous, estimate (from math), and quarrel. Then we learned the word lethargic (sluggish and tired. no energy). It is one of my biggest rewards watching them use those correctly and in context! :)
We had graduation practice then came back and did stations. There, they practice the letter
Qq. They wrote a sentence frame about their favorite animal. They put together a spring puzzle, then played toss it.
We ended with a short review math lesson on teen numbers and displaying them in a logical order.
We celebrated Annika's summer birthday with cupcakes!
Have a great afternoon!
